Is the combined pill right for me or is another method better?

In the case of endometriosis, there are no particular contraindications to the classic pill or other combined hormonal contraceptives, although the latest studies consider the use of contraceptives with only progestin to be more favorable, such as the progestin-only pill or the subdermal implant. Both of these methods, in fact, have a more beneficial effect on the lining of the uterus (endometrium), and thus provide a more substantial improvement in the pain that accompanies endometriosis, which can negatively influence the life of a woman who suffers from it.
